"Why not?" Scorpius knows exactly what he's doing, and it thrills him. James wants him. Doesn't want him to want anybody else. So what better way to rile him than to say he'll tell everyone someone else is snogging him to cover?

It's bad. He shouldn't, really. James is right - he needs to get back to Hogwarts. But Scorpius doesn't care about getting in trouble as much as he cares about seeing James for just a minute longer.
