It's a compromise, one that Scorpius will happily take. Mostly because 'couch' means James isn't against him staying a little while longer. Even if they only snog for a few minutes, that could keep Scorpius going for another week or two. It's just getting harder and harder to leave the more their relationship grows, and as nerve-wracking as it is to think he's in a relationship at all, let alone with James Potter, it's also incredibly exciting.
