Scorpius can't help but glance back, try desperately to catch James's eye before he takes off. Much as he likes hanging out with Al, they've done that all term. He hasn't seen James in longer. And, God, it's going to be terrible trying to keep his hands to himself over the holiday. It would blow to have to meet in the loo to snog, but Scorpius is all too willing so long as they can snog.

"Be safe," Harry warns, but with a good-natured grin, both to James and then to Albus and Scorpius.

It's several hours later when Al goes to shower that Scorpius winds up in the office slash guest room, pacing stupidly because, Merlin, he wants to see James but he doesn't want to seem too eager and maybe James isn't even back yet or wants additional space... Scorpius has no idea how this boyfriends thing works.
