It's just the same for James. He meets up with some friends from school in town, spends the afternoon at some muggle pub poking at chips and soda. He's pretty sure he hears the shower come on right before he raps his knuckles at the door to the guest room, letting it swing open slightly before poking his head in.

"Brought some Christmas cookies home," he says a little lamely. "For you guys to share."
