It takes all Scorpius has in him not to charge James and pin him to the wall. Instead he stops mid-pace, looks at him, and feels his stomach do flip-flops. Looking at him directly means acknowledging how annoying good looking James is becoming. The gawkiness of his teens is giving way to broader shoulders, a more mature expression, and Scorpius can't help adoring the new James just as much as the old.
